The five transport mechanisms of the cell are:

1. Pinocytosis: It refers to the ingestion of liquid within a cell due to the budding of small vesicles from the cell membrane.

2. Active transport: It refers to the conduction of ions or molecules through a cell membrane into a region of higher concentration facilitated with enzymes and other energy sources.

3. Passive diffusion: It refers to the conduction of ions and other molecules through the cell membranes from a region of higher concentration to the regions of lower concentration without the assistance of energy input.

4. Facilitated diffusion: It refers to the procedure of continuous passive transport of ions or molecules through a biological membrane with the help of specific transmembrane integral proteins.

5. Phagocytosis: It refers to the ingestion of bacteria or other components by amoeboid protozoans and phagocytes.
