12 gallons because u have to find 20÷5 to get 4 and 5÷5 to get 1 and then u have to find what 48÷4 is and it is 12 and u have to do 1×12 to get 12 and that is your answer

Answer: There is 12 gallons of water , the faucet leak in 48 hours.

Explanation:

Since we have given that

Number of gallon bucket of water = 5

Number of every hours it is needed = 20

We need to find the number of gallons of water that is needed for 48 hours.

So, we will use "Unitary Method":

For 20 hours , Number of gallons of water is needed = 5

For 1 hour, Number of gallons of water is needed is given by

(5)/(20)=(1)/(4)

For 48 hours, Number of gallons of water is needed is given by

(1)/(4)* 48\\\\=12\ gallons

Hence, there is 12 gallons of water , the faucet leak in 48 hours.
