you want the d?
5+1.5(2d-1)=0.5
substract 5 from both sides:
1.5(2d-1)=0.5-5
1.5(2d-1)=-4.5
divide both sides by 1.5
(2d-1)=-3
add 1 to both sides:
2d=-2
divide by 2:
d=-1
that's the solution
