A stoplight that weighs 200 N is supported by two vertical cables. Determine the tension in each cable.

IF the load is shared equally between the cables, then the tension
at the BOTTOM of each cable is (200 / 2) = 100 N.

If the cables have any mass, then the tension must increase as you go
up each cable, because each point in the cable must support not only
the weight of the streetlight but also the weight of the cable under it.
