First, they squashed the opposition: specially the communists.
Then they took away the citizenship of Jews - but those Jews were German citizens before! and the German Jews were victims
Then they also murdered or put into concentration camps many "undesirable" members of the society, such as homosexuals (mostly men) and Roman.
They also "euthanized" the sick and the elderly
