im not sure but someone told me that they just scored two goals. that means they did not score a goal in the second half

If they won the game, they had the greater overall score. That means that they had a final score of 2 goals. The identity property of additions says that if you add 0 to any number, the result will always be that same number. They must have scored 0 goals in the second half, because in the first half they scored 2 goals and at the end of the game they had scored a total of 2 goals. The identity property of addition is the property in the question.
