First, find the total amount of time that Nina worked. Then, divide the gross pay over the total amount of time (measured in hours) that Nina worked to find the hourly pay rate.

Since Nina worked 12 hours on Monday, 7 hours on Wednesday and 7 hours on Friday, the total amount of time that Nina worked was:

12+7+7=26

Since her gross pay was $236.21, divide 236.21 over 26 to find the hourly rate:

(236.21)/(26)=9.085

Since the last nonzero digit of the number 9.085 is a 5, round it up to the hundredths place.

Therefore, the hourly rate is equal to 9.09 dollars per hour.
