Given,

diameter of the circle, d=0.9 mm=0.9×10⁻³ m

The radius is given by,


r=(d)/(2)

Therefore the radius of the circle is,


r=\frac{0.9*10^(-3)^{}}{2}=0.45*10^(-3)\text{ m}

The area of the circle is given by,


A=\pi r^2

On substituting the know values,


A=3.14*(0.45*10^(-3))^2=6.36*10^(-7)m^2

Therefore the area of the circle is 6.36×10⁻⁷ m ²
