Tanya buys 3 cases of soda. Each case of soda contains 12 cans. Tanya drinks 6 cans of soda. Sammy writes a numerical expression to represent the situation. His expression, (12-6)x3 has a mistake. Part A: explain sammy's mistake. Part B: write an expression to find how many bottles of soda are left, and then solve it.

you don't subtract 6 from 12 first you multiply to see your total and then subtaract the 6 sammy drank. equation--(3×12)-6         3×12=36 then 36-6=30  so 30 sodas are left
