4.50 ÷ 2 = 2.25
2.25 × 3 = 6.75
Check:-
2.25 + 2.25 + 2.25 = 6.75
SO, 3 pounds of strawberries cost $6.75. (WOW! That is expensive)

I believe the answer is $6.75 because if you divide 4.50 by 2 you will get ______ and then you have to add that to 4.50 and you get your answer of $6.75
