To find the amount of the tip we can use a rule of 3 when 22 represent the 100% so:


\begin{gathered} 22\to100 \\ x\to15 \end{gathered}

and the equation will be:


\begin{gathered} x=(22\cdot15)/(100) \\ x=3.30 \end{gathered}

So the tip was $3.30 dollars
