If x is not equal to zero, what is the value of 4(3x)^2/ (2x)^2

we can write it like this:


(4*(3x)*(3x))/((2x)(2x))

if x isn't 0, we can divide both sides by x:


(4*(3x)*(3))/((2x)(2))

and again



(4*(3)*(3))/((2)(2))


and now we can calcuate


(4*9))/(4)

and divide both sides by 4.

We're left with 9!!


so the solution is 9!
