What might happen to an organism if it's habitat could not meet one of its needs

Depends on what needs... If it was the food, weathering, etc. many factors play a role in this. For example if it were a drought and the organism could not live without a constant supply of water,then it would die?

It might migrate to another nourishing habitat or if stays it might just perish...
