How did the Kelly-Bessemer process help make iron and steel production better?

I believe the answer is: it removed many of the impurities from the iron through blowing air, which also made the iron hotter and more mailable.

This massively reduce the amount of production time needed to create iron-based goods, allowing companies to create mass production for the iron product. This invention lead to a massive economic growth in both European and north American territories.
