Are 2/4 and 3/6 equivalent ratios?

Explanation:

So you have 2/4 and you need to divide 2 by everything. So 2 divided by 2 which equals 1 and then 2 divided by 4 which equals 2. So you know have an answer of 1/2. But you still need to figure out if 3/6 is and equivalent ratio. Do the same steps. 3 divided by 3 which equals 1 and 6 divided by 3 which equals 2. So both of the ratios equal 1/2 which now we are able to say they are equivalent ratios. :)

Yes, because 2:4 and 3:6 both mean 1:2
