\begin{gathered} A=22500-2000t \\ B=22500-1500t \end{gathered}

To graph the equations we need to find at least two pointd for each equation, for this we can use the y-intercept (t=0) and the x-intercept (Cost=0)

for car A the y intercept is found when t=0

\begin{gathered} A=22500-2000\cdot0 \\ A=22500 \end{gathered}

now for the x intercept we make the cost equal to 0

\begin{gathered} 0=22500-2000t \\ -22500=-2000t \\ t=-(22500)/(-2000) \\ t=11.25 \end{gathered}

for this we have the two points (0,22500) and (11.25,0)

We plot both points and graph

we make the same procedure for car B

\begin{gathered} B=22500-1500\cdot0 \\ B=22500 \end{gathered}

then

\begin{gathered} 0=22500-1500t \\ -22500=-1500t \\ t=-(22500)/(-1500) \\ t=15 \end{gathered}

for this we have the two points (0,22500) and (15,0)

We plot both points and graph
