In order to find the answer for this question we will use the Molarity formula, which is:

M = n/v

where

M = molar concentration or molarity in mol/L

n = number of mols

v = volume in Liters

Now using the values given in the question we will have:

0.220 = n/0.225

n = 0.0495 moles of solute
