The first thing to do is to turn this into an equation:
If minutes= m and distance = d
d = 9m
Since you want to know how far the camera goes after 5 minutes:
m = 5
d = 9 X 5
d = 45
After 5 minutes, the camera has dropped 45 meters.

Well, if it descends 9 meters every minute, you would multiply 9 by the number of minutes in question. Since you want to know its location after 5 minutes, you would multiply 9 by 5.
9 x 5 = 45 so 45 meters after 5 minutes
Hope this helps :)
