4 laps took 18 minutes.
1 lap took ? minutes
(1*18)/4 = 4.5 minutes or 4 minutes 30 seconds.
Direct Variation.
So calculate using this shortcut, Bottom left number * Top Right number / Top left number. It works only for Direct Variation.

You would divide 18 divided by 4 which would be 4minutes and 50 seconds each lap.
