The answer is 224.7 because first you want to change it to an improper fraction so 224*10=2240 then 2240+7=2247 than 2247/10 than you divide and get 224.7

7/10 in decimal form is 0.7.   Therefore, you add 224 in place of the zero.  The answer is 224.7.
