If g(x)=x2+x what is the value of g(-3)

what we do here is substitute (-3) for x:


g(-3)=(-3)*2+(-3)
calculating:
g(-3)=-6+(-3)


g(-3)=-6-3

g(-3)=-9: this is the answer.
