Solution

We have the following:

5 pieces of chocolate

6 pieces of licorine

3 pieces of gum

Total = 5+6+3= 14 pieces

Part A

We can do this:

p=(6)/(14)\cdot(5)/(13)\cdot(4)/(12)=(120)/(2184)=(5)/(91)

Part B

For this case we can do this:

undefined
