x=8-(-2.25)

x=8+2.5

x=10.5

y=6-4.2-(-4.9)

y=1.8+4.9

y=6.7

x-y=10.5-6.7=3.8
The answer is: 3.8

x = 8-(-2.25) = 8+2.25 = 10.25

y = 6-4.2-(-4.9)=6-4.2+4.9=6+0.7=6.7

x-y = 10.25.-6.7=
(1025)/(100) - (670)/(100) = (1025-670)/(100) = (355)/(100) =3.55
