a. 3.91 m²
area of a triangle is (base x height)/2
b=3.4
h=2.3
(2.3)(3.4)=7.82
7.82/2=3.91
**the height of this triangle would be one of the sides because it is a right triangle (sides meet and form perpendicular lines, or a 90° angle)
