Looking at the image above, we can see that I replicated the ruler all along the length and width. I made it to make it easier to count how many rulers we used to measure the length and the width.

Look that we use 3.5 rulers to measure the length, but if each measure is 200ft, then the length is 200ft multiplied by 3.5, which is


\begin{gathered} \text{ length }=3.5\cdot200\text{ ft} \\ \\ \text{length }=700\text{ ft} \end{gathered}

For the width we used 2 rulers, then the width will be 2 multiplied by 200 ft which is


\begin{gathered} \text{ width }=2\cdot200 \\ \\ \text{width }=400\text{ ft} \end{gathered}

Final answer:


\begin{gathered} \text{length }=700\text{ft} \\ \\ \text{width }=400\text{ft} \\ \end{gathered}
