We have

3x+7=11x+15

We subtract 11x on both sides and 7 on both sides

3x-11x+7-7=11x-11x+15-7

we sum like terms

\begin{gathered} 3x-11x=15-7 \\ -8x=8 \\ \end{gathered}

Then we isolate the x

x=-(8)/(8)=-1

ANSWER

x=-1

The equation only have one solution
