1. The answer is letter b. four more than twice a number.
Given number = 2n + 4,
=> 2n = twice a number, n represents the unknown number
=> + = add or more than
=> 4 = four
So, this can be say as = twice a number more than 4 , or four more than twice a number.
Thus, the given equation’s answer is letter B. four more than twice a number
=> Four = 4
=> more than = +
=> twice a number = 2n
=> 4 + 2n, the same as 2n + 4
