1.99 divided by 12= .17
So each donut is $.17 because 1.99 divided by 12=.17

Answer: Hello!

in this problem Katie bought 12 donuts for $1.99, and you want to know the price of each donut.

The equation you need to do is divide the amount spended by the number of donuts bought.

This is p = $1.99/12 = $0.17 (rounding up)

so each donut costs $0,17 cents.
