Mike has 3 1/2 ounces of sugar to put in his coffee. If he actually only puts in 1 5/9 ounces of sugar, about how much sugar does he have left? Estimating fractions.

Answer:

I think it might be 1 17/18

(not sure)

Explanation:

what I did was break down 3 1/2 and I got 2 3/2 I then Subtracted that by 1 5/9 (I don't know if it's right sorry if I'm wrong)

He would have exactly
1 (17)/(18) cups of sugar left.

Hope this helped. ^v^
