1 kg is not 2.2 pounds.
1 kg of mass weighs 2.2 pounds on Earth, 5.8 ounces on the Moon,
and 13.3 ounces on Mars.
If something weighs 77 pounds on Earth, then its mass is about 34.9 kg.
