Yes, because 4/7 is the simplified fraction of 20/35.
4x5=20
7x5=35

Yes, they are.
The way to solve is by simplifying 20/35.
In this case, their Greatest Common Factor is 5.
divide the numerator(20) and the denominator(35) by 5.
After doing this, we get 4/7 (AKA 4:7)
