The only nation in Africa which has managed to resist colonization from European powers is a kingdom that is now known as the modern nation of Ethiopia.
Ethiopia managed to escape the fate of other African countries in the continent because it managed to defeat the colonial power that wishes to do so – Italy, before the rise of Benito Mussolini. This is due to the fact that Italians underestimated the landscape of Ethiopia and thus it fails to win the war with the Ethiopians.
