643-189=450 bevause when you subtract you get 454 and if you are estimating you are rounding and it has a digit 4 in the ones place so you would have to round down because it is not 5 or more

Estimate 189 to the nearest tenth which would be 190. And then do the same for 643 which would be 640. 640-190= 450
