27 is not a prime number because it has more than 2 factors other than 1 and itself. 27's factors are 1, 3, 9, and 27.

The factors of 27 are 1, 3, 9, and 27 .

A prime number has only two factors. They are ' 1 ' and itself.
27 has four factors, so it's not prime.
