What is an advantage of consuming natural foods instead of dietary supplements?

The advantage is that natural foods often contain even things that you didn't plan on taking but are equally good for you. For example, tomatoes are great source of potassium, however, if you take potassium pills then you only take potassium, however, if you eat tomatoes you get many other things as well. Also, your body takes the nutrients much easier and is in turn healthier.
