The glee club has 120 cupcakes to sell. they have decided to arrange the cupcakes in the shape of a rectangle, such that the rows have an even number of cupcakes and the columns have an odd number of cupcakes. How many arrangements of cupcakes can they create? Explain.

With an even rows and odd column In it.

=> 120 cupcakes all in all

=> 2 x 2 x 2 x 15

=> 8 x 15

=> 120

Thus, there will be 8 rows (which is even) in all and 15 columns (which is odd) of cupcakes in a rectangular shape in all.

Thus the glee club will arrange 8 by 15 rectangular shaped cupcakes.
