3a+12= 6a-24
-12= -12
3a = 6a-36
-6a = -6a-36
-3a = -6a-36 then divide by both side by -3
a = 12
Ans: a=12

12 + 24 = 6a - 3a
3a = 36
a = 36/3
a = 12
