A terminating decimal does go on forever like some other numbers do aka pi. So 3.14 , if its not pi, is a terminating decimal

You tell me.
If 3.14 is all there is to it, or if there's more to it but it eventually ends, then it is terminating.
If there's more to it than 3.14 AND it never ends, then it's non-terminating.
