Water pressure exerts 64 pounds on each square foot of a divers body. What force is exerted on each square inch of the diver's body?

what we need to know here is what the relationship between a square foot and a square inch is.

one food is 12 inches. One square food would be 12*12=144 inches


so to find out what the pressure on each square inch is, we have to multiply the pressure on square pount (64) by number of square inches:


(64)/(144) =0.4444
