One fourth on a number n in algebraic expressions. The algebraic expression becomes n/4 as its mathematical value. To further elaborate since expression defines that a number is only one fourth of its value, n/4=? The value then becomes n=4.
For example
Let n = 4 n/4 = 4/4 = 1 Let n = 1 n/4 = ¼ Let n = 3 n/4 = ¾ Let n = 2 n/4 = 2/4 = ½
