Lichens
Lichens are organisms formed from the association between algae and fungi.
It is a harmonious relationship that benefits both organisms involved.
The types of lichens are:
• Crustose lichens: resemble crusts;

• Foliose lichen: has structures that resemble small leaves;

• Fruticose lichen: its structure resembles bushes.
