"Two solutions of an equation are (6,5) and (8,5). What could the equation be? Explain."

The equation for these two points would be y = 5 because the y coefficient is the same number in both sets of points. if you were to take the slope of the points, you would quickly realize this ends up as zero. a line whose slope is zero is a horizontal line.
