do 2.7+2.1 divide by 2, that is just the answer but this is the example:

2.2 in July 3.1 in august, 1.0 in September.
what you have to do is add all three numbers, and divide it by how many numbers you added so in this case 3.

2.2+3.1+1.0=6.3
6.3/3 (cause we added 3 numbers) 2.1

answer: 2.1 :D

you first have to add 2.7 inches and 2.1inches to get 4.8 inches from there you divide by 2 because you only added two number so your average rain fall is 2.4 inches
