XYZ and ABC are similar triangles. Thus, the ratio of the concurrent sides will be the same.


(XZ)/(AC)=(XY)/(AB)

Substitute values in the above expression.


\begin{gathered} (m)/(7)=(49)/(23) \\ m=(49)/(23)*7 \\ m=(343)/(23) \\ m=14.91 \end{gathered}

Thus, the length of side m is 14.91 .
