8x+10-6x+4=24
8x-6x=2x
10+4=14
2x+14=24
-14 -14
2x=10
x=5

If youre trying to find the sum of x.
8x + 10 - 6x + 4 = 24
8x - 6x + 10 + 4 = 24
2x + 14 = 24
2x = 24 -14
2x = 10
x = 10/2
x = 5
