The three main areas or parts are:

1. Executive - It is administraded by the president of the United States and about other 5000 workers

2. Legislative - It is called Congress, this one creates the laws. And it is divided in two parts: the Senate and House of Representatives.

3. Judicial - It includes the Supreme Court. They are specially judges who interpretate the law acording to the Constitution.

In general, governments create public policy to address issues in the economy, government itself, and education, since these are the fields in which the country is most connected.
