When d=1, C=π, therefore:
k=π.
Therefore:
C=πd

Answer:
When d=8 cm,
C=8π cm

The circumference of a circle is (pi) x (diameter).
If pi were 3, then a diameter of 8 cm would mean circumference =
24 cm
.
But 3 is 4.5% too small for pi.
