According to the given table, the miles driven increases by 80 per every 4 gallons of gas, let's divide these numbers

r_A=(80)/(4)=20

Hence, Car A travels 20 miles per gallon.

Part 5.

Using this ratio, we complete the table

Miles Driven: 80 160 240 320 400 800

Gallons Gas: 4 8 12 16 20 40

Let's find the unit rate for Car B.

r_B=(135)/(5)=27

Car B travels 27 miles per gallon of gas.

Then, we find the unit rate of Car C using the graph, we just have to divide

r_C=(63)/(3)=21

Car C travels 21 miles per gallon of gas.

Part 6.

The completed paragraph would be:

"You know that Car A gets 160 miles per 8 gallons, Car B gets 81 miles per 3 gallons"

Hence, the answer is B because we can make a ratio table for Car B which doesn't have any given tables.

Car A gets 20 miles per gallon, Car B gets 27 miles per gallon, and Car C gets 21 miles per gallon. So, Car B travels the farthest on 1 gallon of gas. This answer makes sense because each ratio is
