Ryan has nine 14 ounce bags of popcorn to repackage and sell at the school fair. A small bag holds 3 ounces. How many small bags can he make?

42.....14*9=126 then you do 126/3 which is 42...hope this helps

Given : Number of 14 ounces bags of popcorn = 9

Then , the total weight of popcorn in 9 bags =
14*9=144\text{ ounces}

If a small bag holds 3 ounces.

Then , the number of small bags he can make :-


(144)/(3)=48

Therefore , the number of small bags he can make = 48
