4(6 + 7) = 4 * 6 + x * 7
4(6) + 4(7) = 4 * 6 + x * 7
24 + 28 = 4 * 6 + x * 7
24 + 28 = 24 + x * 7 (subtract each side by 24)
-24 -24
28 = x * 7 (divide each side by 7)
28/7 = x
4 = x
The value of x is 4
